They came as eggs from a local farmer, not a hatchery. They could definitely be mixed.I think they’re both cockerels, even though the RSL should be a Pullet based on color. Where did you get them? Could they be mixed breeds?

In that case, I think they are both mixed breeds, and cockerels. They came as eggs from a local farmer, not a hatchery. They could definitely be mixed.
If it's not definitely a RSL then I vote probably a mixed breed cockerel. Here's a link to RSL https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-truth-and-guide-to-red-sex-links.74294/They came as eggs from a local farmer, not a hatchery. They could definitely be mixed.
Sex link and autosexing birds. Sex links are hybrids that allow you tell gender at hatch, and autosexing is a breed that tells gender at hatch (an example of this is the Cream Legbar).Fascinating. How can you tell gender at hatch? and is it just sex links that you can sex this early?
X2 I agree!If it's not definitely a RSL then I vote probably a mixed breed cockerel. Here's a link to RSL https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-truth-and-guide-to-red-sex-links.74294/
EDIT: Wait who told you RSL? If it was the farm then it's probably female RSL, if it was someone else then I vote mixed breed cockerel.

The farm hasn't stated what they were, they were given as fertile eggs. I posted pictures here last week and was told RSL.If it's not definitely a RSL then I vote probably a mixed breed cockerel.
