any tips and trips for using a hovabator?

today i just bought a hovabator forced air with turner, does anyone have any tips or tricks to help my first hatch be successful? i have borrowed one from a friend before so this is my second hatch, are the little thermometers accurate because i have two thermometers in and they are atleast 5 degrees apart?

My thermometer was 2 degrees below the other two I'm using and hygrometer is around 3-4% below as well. I recommend getting a good thermometer/hygrometer duo and a glass thermometer as well and calibrate all them.

Good luck. I ordered 30 eggs from Murray McMurray, received 36, 3 had small cracks, and out of 33, 26 are growing strong! Love my genesis 1588!
