Another Trekkie here. The movie was much better than I expected. Lots of in-jokes which were great. Really interesting story line. If I have one nit pick it is that Kirk does not have blue eyes. Minor mistake that could have been easily corrected with contact lenses. Seeing the movie at an IMAX theater made it very noticeable.

Star Trek = LOVE

I was terrified they'd destroy Star Trek with this movie somehow, but I loved it. I'm amazed they found someone who looks so . . . Kirkish, blue eyes or no. We have the ability to change our eye color with simple contacts, so that point didn't register with me. I figure if they're warping through space, they can have eye coloring technology if they want.

Yes, yes and YES!!! I've beena Trekkie for years and am going to the movie tonight!!! WooHoo....it's my BD today so I'm roping the family into going.......I can't wait!!!
