Spring is here and that means tulip time! I love flowers of all kinds but I think my favorite is the tulip. My first foray into tulips was in the little bags you find at Wal-Mart. Those did pretty good and were a welcome sight after a long winter. Last year I got brave and bought a large amount of bulbs and put them in the ground, and am anxiously awaiting their blooms (will be purple and red). Anybody else awaiting their spring flowers?View attachment 1347223

I gave up on tulips because the deer eat them. My snowdrops and crocus have finished, and my daffodils and hyacinths are finally in full bloom.

Tulips, and a bunny!

My daffodils are all about done. Tulips in full bloom. Grape hyacinths full bloom. Lots of wildflowers.

Guess what this one is?

Lol! The bane of my existence! Poison Oak. Coming out all over.

Camas not blooming yet but the stalks are up.

Shooting star lilies are done

Ahh...yes, that does look like poison oak. Here, my annoyance weeds are burdock, multiflora rose and thornapple trees!
