Any turtle types experts here?

do you think this is a good diet? have you ever kept box turtles?

Looks pretty good to me. I've kept a few over the years. Catch them in my yard all the time. Mostly keep red ear sliders I catch out of my pond. I've also kept a common snapping turtle once for about 5 years before I got tired of him and turned him loose.

I fed my box turtles a 50/50 mix of plants and low protein canned dog feed.

Where in the world are you located? I agree, looks like a box turtle of some sorts.

A box turtles diet should mainly be made up by dark leafy veggies with other colorful veggies. Fruit and protein should be about 10-20% percent of their diet. I'd add in a few more veggies such as dark lettuces, carrots, sweet potato, squash, and zucchini.
