Any way to color sex BC Maran chicks?

Hi everyone,
I hatched a few black copper maran chicks about a week ago and some have brown feathers starting to come in on their wings and some have all black wing feathers started. Is this a sign of male and female and if so can anyone tell me which would be which?

No, I believe someone else asked this too. I used to think brown feathering meant male - But it actually just means that the Marans have mossiness, an undesired/bad breeding trait. The only way to sex Black Coppers that I've known of is at about 3 weeks of age, sometimes 2 weeks, the cockerels will develop a much bigger comb.
