Any way to sex 3 day old D'uccle chicks ???????????

Just wondering if any D'uccle breeders have an eye for sexing chicks, and could teach me....LOL

The only way I know of is venting... Squeezing the poop out of them and looking for a bump:/

It's pretty much impossible with that breed, but you can try!

d'uccles (no n) are a small bantam. If you try to vent sex them at 3 days old you will almost certainly damage them irreparably. Wait a few weeks and comb size should give you a pretty good clue.
