Any way to stop ducks from mating?

Is there a way to stop drakes to want to mate?
I have 6 pet ducks (3 pairs) oldest are 4 years old, i'm not interested in ever breeding them and i don't care for the egg production to be honest. They're just my buddies however they are all not getting along at this time of the year and have to be separated by pairs.
I don't want to put anyone off by this question, but is there anything (medication) to stop the urge to mate?

A vet might know the answer to that. I read something about it the other day, some sort of hormone implant someone was using on drakes or roosters, but I don't remember anything of the details.

I don't think that'd be very healthy for the drake though. Although ducks can occasionally undergo a partial gender change due to a sudden change of environment or... something?

Thank you for that link, it appears in the end the hormone treatment that was used did not work.
