Any ways to clear sinuses/help congestion?

Hey, y'all!

I got a nasty sinus infection this week from swimming too much in a chlorinated pool. I'm now dealing with congestion, runny nose, headache, and really painful sinuses. I've taken Aleve, Sudafed, Guaifenesin, and Zyrtec. Does anyone have any home remedy ideas to clear out my sinuses and feel better?

I have heard rave reviews about irrigating the nasal passages with a neti pot.

I've thought about doing that, but wouldn't it just give you the water-up-the-nose feeling?

No, or I doubt anybody would do it.
If you use it correctly, the sensation is kind of strange at first, but it should not be painful or hurt in the same way as when you get water up your nose.

I didn't have a neti pot, but my little blue teapot was about the same shape/size. I just did it, and even though I did it wrong the first couple times and ended up sputtering into the sink, I flushed out my sinuses and can breathe through my nose again. Thank you so much!!

ETA: I don't think my teapot and I will ever look at each other the same way again.
