My EE is 19 weeks old. Her comb is kinda big, don't have a pic at the moment. I've only have older white leghorns that are laying so I don't know what she will look like. No squatting. I also have a 20 week old cochin, but I guess she still has a was to go.

On, average when do EEs and perhaps cochins start to lay?

It varies from breed to breed, but usually from 4-6 months they will start laying. Of course, that doesn't always happen and hens can sometimes lay before the average time.

I assume the EE, Harley, will lay @ 4-5 months. I guess the cochin, Gracie, will lay at 6 months.

Here they are today. Still the same age. The cochin will be 21 weeks and the EE will be 20 weeks on Thursday.
