So, once we move to our new house, we can (finally) get a dog. My husband is allergic to most dogs, but not the non shedders.

So Yorkies are non shedders, but I'm not a huge fan of terriers, and poodles are great family dogs, but (and I'm so sorry if I offend anybody's best friend) but my husband thinks they're ugly.

After searching the web for a family friendly (we don't have kids yet, but plan to soon) non shedding dog that's kinda cute, we came upon the "Yorkiepoo". Well I just fell in love. I know its a fairly new "breed" but I've been reading about them and they sound perfect for us.

Does anyone have a Yorkiepoo, or know anyone that does have one?

I love Yorkies, always wanted one because they were so little, but after researching them, they didn't seem like the dog for us. Hope you find a dog you and your DH will both love!

We went with a Pomapoo (Pomeranian/Poodle) mix. I am really happy with her. She is a real sweetie and great with the kids. Hardly any shedding, I love that!

I have a wonderful Yorkiepoo! I raised Yorkies for years and my Mother-in-law came to visit with her poodle and there ya go.... Anyway he is the funniest thing, my 9 year old has grown up with him and they are the best of friends. Can't keep them apart night or day. Has a great disposition, great with kids. Has a few quirks such as I feed him Bits and Bones and he only eats the bones parts, picks them out of the bowl! But he's a great little dog. Think you'd enjoy having one!

I have a Snorkie, which is a Schnauzer/Yorkie mix. Here is a picture of him after being groomed. I don't have a before picture on my computer. He is fluffy all over before we get his fur trimmed, but since it has been over 100 here most days lately we had to get his fur cut very short. He hardly sheds at all.

Edited to add another picture where you can see his cute ears.

I have a yorkie, I adore, He's spoiled rotten, I also have a nonsense- poodle mix, No they do not shed, but they do have to be clipped, check into what clipping a dog appox. every 6 weeks will cost.I also have my yorkie clipped due to the hot weather and the long hair that has to be brushed almost every day. good luck marrie
