I've been doing some reading on other site's. Tell me if this is true. If you want to get a frizzle you mix a frizzle roo with a couchin hen but if you mix two frizzle's you get a frazzle? Just wondering if that was good info!!!! I hatched a sultan frizzle mix today. Just wondering if someone has pic's of what she might look like. Need a sneak preview so to speak. lol

smooth x frizzle = 50% smooth, 50% frizzle
frizzle x frizzle = 25% smooth, 50% frizzle, 25% curly (frazzle)
frizzle x curly = 50% frizzle, 50% curly
smooth x curly = 100% frizzle

smooth feather to frizzle is the more sound advice. the percentages of chicks will run about 50-50. breeding frizzle to frizzle can lead to all sorts of problems. best thing to do is breed a smooth feather out of a line of frizzles to a frizzle.

And it gets even more confusing, because there are frizzles in a variety of breeds -- frizzled cochins, frizzled barred rocks (saw two last week!), frizzled seramas, and so on -- and then there is ALSO a whole BREED called frizzles. So you need to be sure what kind of frizzle you're talking about!

I got the frizzle egg's from Dipsy. Do you know what kind she has? I got some barred rock from bossynbella but they are not frizzle. They would make a beautiful frizzle though. Thank's PEACE
