Anybody can tell me if theese might lay golden eggs?

Well, whatever they are, the economy operates on the law of supply & demand.
Apparently, there was no demand for a dozen eggs of this kind for $400.00!

I have very little knowledge on the different breeds of chickens, but I certainly would not pay that much because I a cheap. Someone, somewhere, most probably will if they want them bad enough.

Edited to say, that the seller has great feedback and its obvious that she has good quality birds and people are very satisfied with her products, I looked at the pic of those birds and they do look mighty nice.

I've got some Rhode Island Reds for sale...$200.00 each. They might start laying
golden eggs. They never HAVE...but they might...

Anyone want to buy one, take a chance?

They are worth whatever the highest bidder is willing to pay for them. Frankly, I don't understand why so many people get bent out of shape when someone else is spending their own money.

By the way, the seller Graciemae, is a BYC member.

What I'm saying is the pictured bird was not Birchen.

Birchen is having the white only in the saddle, hackle, and shoulder of the wing in males.

That bird has white in the secondary feathers, white in the chest, and even looking beyond color, it had a very Wyandotte-type back and tail and its legs were verging on yellow in color.

Does she get on here often? I would like to hear about these eggs (seriously).

revolutionmama has Silver Sussex. Her name is Jenn. I have her stock, and they are fabulous.

I do not know Gracie Mae, but I know she is the one importing the English Orps.

Maybe 400.00 sounds a bit steep to you all, but I've seen them sell for 150 for six silver split eggs. Mine are pure silver sussex and my breeding stock came directly from GreenFire Farms. Anyway to those who are interested I started a new auction with a new price! Thanks for your comments! We all have them!
