Anybody crossed bbs orps with buff orps? Pictures?

Just wondering what you would get if you crossed buffs with blue, black, or splashes. Thanks

I'm not sure but I would love to know also. I have a blue EE that I want to put with my buff roo later. I know it will be a mutt but am curious as to what blue and buff together would make.

Speckledhen mentioned in another thread that these crosses produce unpredictable color patterns. Check the orp thread for pics. I posted pics of my blue x buff and Miss Prissy posted some of her cockerel and the same cross with different results.

my friend hatched some eggs that were from buff, blue and black hens, with a blue rooster. she got black and brown (sort of chocalate partridge looking) chicks out of them. Neat if all you care about is layers.....she wanted blue orps in the worst way, but she still loves them just the same.

Here are mine. Splash roo and buff hens. From same hatch, very different!

Both these are splashxbuff orps....
