Anybody else notice this?

Before I got chickens I looked at pics of the breeds I was expecting and thought "wow chickens are pretty big birds, I hope my coop is big enough" and so now that my girls are 17 weeks old I thought they had like so much more growing to do because they look tiny compared to pics (and they aren't bantams). I also have 2, 7 week old babies and I was looking at pics of my older girls when they were 7 weeks and they look HUGE compared to my 7 week old babies in real life so I've come to the conclusion that chickens just look way bigger in pics. It really is weird comparing pictures of my older girls to my younger babies when they were their age.
 
I haven't noticed that, but it certainly could be true. Cameras can make things look different then they really area, including the color of birds. I always try to get good pictures of them and it just doesn't look like they do in real life.
