Hey my friend!!!! Well the first one, Im calling FIGHTER...is up and jumping around and pipping...skinnier than heck and bald...but moving good...the 2nd one I just had to help out of the shell, it was dry so bad its wing was stuck to the body as his head against his body...got warm water, and a q tip and gently with clean hands loosened him up...so Fighter took 3 hrs to even stand...Im watching this next one.
Also my other eggs arent pipping, moving, zipping ...nothing...im wondering if they are drying out???? my humidity was at 64% for some time, now I have it up at 72%...just waiting and watching...
Fighter before and u can see the 2nd one also to the left....
DRY ALREADY...sorry took it with cell phone he deserves a better picture than this...later give me time...lol
FIGHTER FINALLY STANDING, AND PATIENCE JUST OUT OF THE SHELL...
patience is still laying down, but kicking alittle more...his head/wings were stuck to his body...so I had to loosen that up...so he is resting but kicking more....
I'm just about to die that nothing is happening with this baby- it's the most wonderful dark egg I've ever seen, and it's just dormant...I see the tip of the beak poke out of the tiny hole occasionally...
Know what you mean...I just want to do SOMETHING...for these two...and there is nothing I can do but wait...wait ...wait...and the other eggs arent coming along...hve roughly 9 I think....what do u think I should do with my humidity? I think its at 68%
go up like 2-3 post...I put up bigger pictures of FIGHTER AND PATIENCE...
I've got my humidity at 75% right now, fearful of the same thing- I'm not sure if you have a prob with humidity or if it's just that they took so long to get out!
I don't know if there's any such thing as humidity too high on hatch day, though.
well I checked on Patience....and he couldnt stand up because.......his little legs were STUCK TO HIM...so agian q tips and warm water, open the darn bator up...worked on him, and he stretched them long....so now he is moving around doing a break dance, not up on his legs yet...I imagine its gonna take time with them stuck to him for so long....Fighter...
standing in a corner, afraid to lay down...still featherless...well he has a tiny bit...but not much...im so glad those two are ok though....
now Im not gonna go over until maybe 10300-11pm tonight...and check on them...everytime I walk in...it wakes the others sleeping. and they jump and scram....cute little things.
