anybody ever raised a largemouth bass in an aquarium *UPDATE*

I've raised blue gills before, they got pretty huge and were mighty tastey.

Becareful and check your state game laws, I know there are size limits on bass "in possession", so.... i'm just saying!

Give him a few days and turn off the lights to the tank. If you have one.

Forgot to say. The first thing we offered was rosies from the pet store. They will stay alive in the tank and he might eat them at night.

Maybe because he belongs in the wild??? He doesn't know where he is and what to do, so he is confused...

yea i agree... its not a bad thing to have him is it. i mean lots of ppl have them in an aquarium setting.... most ppl dont think of a bass when if comes to an aquarium fish but in an aquarium you can enjoy there beauty and they can actually become quite intelligent and learn to reconize certain ppl... so ive read.. i hope he adjusts.. i need to get some more plants to put in my tank..
