Anybody ever tried solar heated coops?

I would like my girls tostay warm and the water in liquid form. Has anyone done the solar heat thing? Stop laughing! I love my girls and would like them to be as comfy as I can make it for them. I just worry about fires so I would rather not do lights or electric heaters. Thak you

I'm curious about this too! it can't be that hard to do! I just have no idea how it'd be done love the idea tho

I will go for solar lighting next year. But for heat i will build a soda can solar heater. I might also put some flat rocks or tiles, whatever holds heat for a bit after it gets dark.
