Our coop has no electricity. I am searching for a coop light to turn on in the am prior to sunrise. It needs to be solar, and the coop is too far away for a remote control. I am not able to find a timer that allows me to set the hour that is compatible with solar lighting, but rather they come on at dusk. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ideally, I am looking for direct links. Thank you!

Did you ever come up with a solution?

No, I have not come up with a good solution.

On one board there was a link to a solar light and battery set up for over $150, but that is not in our budget at this point.

Still looking for ideas. I tried a timer off of amazon that I saw on another forum, but it wasn't compatible with the solar lights we had. My husband tried to amend it and there wasn't enough power in the lights to run the timer. I need to find a timer that can be battery powered rather than having a battery backup.

I'm in your same position. Mine are costing me a lot in feed, so if $150+ gets them laying, it might be worth it.
