I am just curious on why you chose to blog and what you use.
I would like to have a blog about my chicken adventures and my gluten free living.

I was never really interested in blogging until a few months ago when I started going back to church. It's pretty fun to share my views on things, and help inspire people.

I use blogger, and LOVE IT! It's really easy to use, and I love the setup.

You should totally try it!

I have a blog! I blog about all kinds of stuff; it's really more of an online diary than anything else. I homeschool my kids and put semi-regular updates about the educational stuff we do in the blog, tag them with 'education' and at the end of the year our portfolio reviewer can read those posts to get a pretty detailed narrative of our school year (to supplement the work samples I provide for each child). I also blog about books I read, our chickens, some religious posts and occasionally a bit of politics (but not a whole lot; I am a member of my party's county executive committee and don't want my personal opinions taken for official ones). New readers are always welcome; I was posting pretty regularly until DS10 broke my laptop. I don't post as often now because I have to do all my online stuff on my phone.

I also use Blogger and like it a lot.

Am I allowed to post a link? Not sure.....

I have a blog - www.clutehomestead.blogspot.com. I use Blogger (as you can see). Blogger suits me just fine. It's ramblings about our life, recipes, ideas on frugal living, etc.

Me, too. The blogging sites are super easy to set up and use and I've met some WONDERFUL bloggers and made new friends. I'm all over the place with my topics (just like my life - lol) but it's a lot of fun. You should try it out. I bet you get hooked!

Folks have been telling me to blog about our misadventures for quite a while. I finally got around to it (link below).

These days, it's easy and free.
