Anybody have Anconas?

My co-worker has a flock of SLW and Anconas, about 21 weeks old. Will the Anconas start to lay first?

What are Anconas like as pet chickens? Friendly?

Anconas are not lap chickens for sure. They are of the mediterranean class so, they are very flightly and skittish...at least mine are/were. I oly have one now and she is still flighty at 5 years old, though not as bad as she used to be. Oh, and very noisy, they are known to be excellent watch dogs.
Oh and yes, the Anconas will start to lay first.
