Anybody have chickens that hate pellets?

I've never even tried the pellets, I mean why would I need to? The crumbles and pellets are the same thing, are they not?

The reason why I bought the pellets is because the feed store near my house only has layer pellets not crumbles.

The pellets are less messy for me, and less feed ends up on the ground as compared to crumbles. I also have lots of sparrows that seem to have trouble eating the pellets, but clean up the crumbles in no time. (I'm getting a cat to help with them...)

I had pellets a few times and everytime, they woudl reject the pellets and it would spoil. So back to crumbles! Easier for the bantams to eat them and baby chicks too!
