Anybody have pics of their golden laced polish from murray mcmurray?

I think really if you want quality in any breed of chicken a reputable breeder trumps a hatchery every time. I have a friend that orders from about every hatchery there is every year. Its the same thing, silkies and bantam cochins. She is never happy, yet does it year after year. With a breeder at least you know what you are going to get and that individual is more accountable and needs to work harder on thier reputation than a mass order hatchery.

my free golden laced polish from mcmurray is coming into a very nice young man and is extremely funny to look. i ordered 25 chicks from mcmurray and they all came happy and healthy and are all doing fine i would suggest mcmurray to any one.

I would have to disagree on ordering from Murray based the fact that it will cost about $125 to order 25 chicks with shipping from Murray with a great chance that you will not get very good quality birds (show quality that is). I would STRONGLY recommend finding a breeder and getting the best pair you can find for the same price. I think going with a breeder is a much smarter investment and you can start hatching your own chicks as soon as the hen lays!

I was very impressed with my Golden laced Polish as well. They WERE show quality and got raves from many.
When I ordered from them this year I ordered some Some standard blue cochins, and some BLR as well as a few EES.. they got my numbers all messed up.. I got the birds I wanted but the amounts of each were totally messed up. I got tons of Cochins, only 4 BLR I got more then 25 birds yes.. however if I can't get the numbers of each I want.. why bother.

Just saw this thread and thought I'd provide a picture or two of my 4 1/2 months old GLP hen from Murray McMurray. She is a total crack-up
