Anybody have problems with fireworks?

I expected my flock to go nuts due to explosive celebration combined with neighborly inebriation. No drama. They could have given lessons in Zen detachment.

There have been at least two threads today complaining about the noise and lights. Didn't bother mine that I can tell, ot the dogs or cats, or the cows behind me. Got 3 eggs; been averaging two lately. My new broody is still there, waiting for eggs, which I'm collecting. I was a little concerned because it's been dry lately, but no fire engines, either. And we had some real shows last night, one as good as some I've paid to see.
