Anybody in Indiana?

The 4-H Poultry Club in Columbus is having a chick sale on Saturday, April 11th at Daily Feed and Grain on SR 46 East of Columbus. These chicks will be 5 or so days old. There will be a variety of sexed pullets for sale at around $2.00 each.
You will likely not find any laying age chickens for sale this time of year -at least at a reasonable price. Most folks who have carried them through the winter aren't going to part with them right before they start laying well again.

We are in Greencastle, IN. We will have bantam and Standard Ameraucana chicks and hatching eggs for sale this Spring. The chicks will start hatching in two weeks. We have hatching eggs right now. I just wanted to get the word out if anyone was interested.
Thanks

I guess it depends on the person what color they lay. I think they are greenish blue, but my sister thinks they are blue. The bantams are wonderful. My sister did great showing them last year and is showing more in Bloomington in April. They can be seen on our website www.heavenlyspringsquarterhorses.

I love the Lavenders! They are beautiful! Sadly I can have any roos. What age can you tell if their male or female?

BTW: Are you at the Lebanon show with the Reserve Champ?

Thanks for all the kind words. The bantams are my little sister's. The lavenders are beautiful. She only has a rooster and hen that are lavender. She is going to keep the chicks from them to add to her flock. She will have black bantam Ameraucana eggs for sale. Right now, she is selling them for $20 for a dozen. They are going fast. We would rather people pick them up, but will ship them for $12 extra dollars. My standard Ameraucana eggs are the same amount.

Ameraucanas can't be sexed when they hatch. I usually can't tell until they get their feathers in. I usually know in atleast 2 months.
Thanks
