Anybody know how to catch a fox from eating your hens.

We have this fox that must live near our house. It has been trying to get in our henhouse and eat the hens. We have been trying to catch it. Anybody have a good idea!

I tried only traps so far, but he's to wily

How are your traps set up? Are you using a bird as bait?

It's just a foot trap. We put some leftover turkey by it. I just need to know how to keep it away from my hens and maybe catch it.

Can you put a live chicken in a live trap or even animal carrier located where fox tries to get into henhouse? If yes, then put leg trap(s) next to where chicken is contained. Fox will try to get at chicken and keep working around container and hopefully step in trap. Chicken will not enjoy expereince.
