Ok...so I am starting to feel like that new mom that asks too many questions and bugs everyone to death! I realize I am obsessed....but here goes ....

I promise to NOT ask anymore dumb questions or post anymore of the same pictures IF someone could just give me some opinions on 9 week old Lulu the silkie... Male/female???

I can't begin to differentiate between sexes with any confidence until about 10 weeks, and I have zero experience with Silkies, which renders me utterly useless here.

I just didn't want you to feel ignored.

only comparing them to mine, who are a few weeks older lol, but The hair says roo and comb still looks pulletesque to me..

I'm by no means an expert only raised a few silkies but managed to guess their genders spot on fairly early on and as soon as I saw that first piccy my mind lept to Rooster. I could be wrong ofc but...
Just the way he's holding himself screams rooster at me. The hens tend to crouch and come off as "perpetually submissive" in their stance while roos hold up more proud with their chest out. They just have that pompous aire about them no matter what the breed.
