Anybody missing a peacock? (Ventura County)

Hello again Tom,
I know it seems unlikely, but I wonder if that guy could be our rescued pea who moved on to new horizons after all?
I named him "Bumpy" when he was here, because he had a bump on the front of his right shin.
It looks like your guy has a bump, too!
In any case, he looks very happy over there with you, whoever he is! Congratulations!
It would just be interesting to know if he was a long-distance traveler...

Here's our former Bumpy, FYI...

I was suspecting that he came from a ranch pretty close to here, I'll PM you their name if you want to contact them and find out where they got him- It's probably unlikely that he traveled all that way on his own, but someone may have found him wandering and collected him then offered him to them; much as I almost did.
Sure looks alike to me, though I don't know much about them.

There is a whole flock of them out here that I didn't know about, another neighbor told me about them. We also know they have some at that other ranch, just because we can hear them from time to time..

Thanks for the info, Tom.
I'm guessing that would be impossible to tell if it was the same guy.
I was just curious, because I have no idea how far they can/would actually travel, it would be interesting if he actually went that far!
Whoever he is he seems to be enjoying himself!

By the way, I don't know how accessible your lovely produce is, but peas will certainly eat any plants they can get to, look out.

Yeah, it's all fenced off. My chickens would do the same, so I had to separate the garden. If he likes them, he's got access to an unlimited supply of avocados and oranges though via the neighbors farms. It seems like he spends most of his time exploring the drainage ditch though that runs along the side of the property, or maybe he just uses that as his main road to visit all the many places out here. It even goes under the busy road, and has lots of water for him. (and lizards, snakes, snails, frogs).. I just hope he has peacock friends!

My peas like the ditches here also, theres lots to eat in them and they like checking out the turtles and snakes and the occasional baby alligator that should not even be in there.
