We're looking to buy 2 chickens soon. I almost have the coop ready so when its done its go time. My wife really liked Barred rocks but we'd probably be open to other breeds too. Let me know what you have and where you are. Thanks!

I'm in Polk, Pa. That's a bit of a drive, but not too far. I have some barred rocks & white rocks if you're interested. I hatched out too many!
Just let me know... I'll even consider meeting you halfway if necessary.
ETA: I have 4 week olds & 8 week olds with both male & female available in both breeds.

The little ones (in the dark barn) hatched 6/25. I think only 2 may be roos.
The bigger BR girls (in the OSB-coop) are from 6/1... all pullets.
The cochins & frizzles are pending, but I still have 3 Black Stars (pullets), 5 white rocks (2 possible roos), and the 8 BRs (2 possible roos)

Yes, I'm just in need of roos...we got 15 babies back in April and all our egg layers turned out to be pullets as promised. However, we'd like to start producing our own now instead of buying and of course we'll need a roo to do that.
