Anybody seen this before on your chicken?

This started appearing maybe 4 or 5 months ago, starting out small then ballooning to what it is today. My hen's age is around 8 years old so I'm thinking it could some form of cancer.

Is it solid or feel like there is fluid in it?

It's solid.

Probably not an abscess then. . .Could be a type of tumor. If it is that or cancer there's nothing you can do, but she is 8. . .
