Anybody setting today (3-25) or tomorrow (3-26)??

Oh, and forgot to say that a chick hatched last night (the one with his toe out of the egg) and the other one (in the first pic) is exhausted. I am hoping that it will get out soon, but there isn't a lot of change from last night. It is still peeping and moving though!

Hey everyone! The chick that pipped late Tuesday morning is still not out. Should I help it? I don't usually do this, but I am concerned. I also was leaving the hatched chick in there to stimulate the chick in the egg, but it is getting to the point where it needs to eat. Should I take it out and feed it? Or leave it in to stimulate the other? No more eggs have pipped yet...

Update on Momma out in the coop. I went out to the coop this am to let the girls out etc. and I noticed she was off her nest and there was a little one peeping and just hatching out of its egg. I went and filled all the watter containers and came back and checked and she was back on her nest so I checked under her and the little chick had hatched.

So now on the beginning of day 25 she has finally hatched one of her own. I am so happy for her, I was going to take the eggs from her and slip under a few of my BLRW's I got from a local breeder but now I'm thinking I might wait just one more day to be sure. She was off her nest for longer that I had wanted a few times because I forgot to latch her cage but always went back on after I found her out on the roost and returned her to her cage. I hope this late hatch is not my fault but I'm quite sure it is.on another note I ordered some Black Copper Maran chicks from a lady on the coast and they should be here Monday so even though my first attempt at hatching has not brought great results I will still have a few for momma in the end.

i helped the last egg my broody hatched the other day there was a pip and i could hear it chirping. i carefully peeled the egg away and the chick was still in a ball shape it was alive so i stuck it back under momma hen and checked 3 hours later and it was all hatched .

Hey guys! I ended up helping the chick out last night. I think that the eggs where just too close together and the chick couldn't push them out of the way from inside the egg... Anyways, it is healthy and happy, along with the other chick. But no more have even pipped yet! I am worried!
