We used it for my dd's first time raising meaties for 4-H, to show in the county fair last summer/fall--seems like that's what everyone uses. She ended up with 3rd place out of 37 market pens of three birds, so I'd have to say we'd use it again!

I bought 1 bag to mix in with the current feed to increase protein for going into the breeding season. It has animal protein in which is a plus. The Tagetes Extract is another plus because it helps add yellow leg color for the rock bantams. It is rather expensive but what do you do..grain prices are pushing all the feed prices up. It should be a very good starter feed with the amprolium but I am unsure about eating the eggs from a medicated feed. Does anyone have any opinion about that?
