Where i'm at, the price has gotten outrageous. Looking to make my own. Any ideas? $4.15/ 32 oz.

Use real cream and add vanilla extract. The real cream is way healthier for you than that artificial garbage anyway.

ok, i found this recipe. Sound good??
3/4 cup half&half
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

heat cream and sugar until sugar is dissolved, do not boil, rmove from heat, add vanilla and cool.

Half and half is already sweet.. I would try cutting the sugar out of that recipe if I was using it.

Hope that works for you... I use it but it goes on sale for 2/$5 a lot so I usually buy it then.... I think the most I've paid is $3.29.

Not trying to start something just making a point, Half and Half is not already sweet... Your thinking of stuff like the coffee "creamer" they sell in the dairy, which is sweetened. Half and Half is sold next to the whipping cream(not to be confused w/already whipped) and is only half cream and half milk nothing else. My mom is hypoglycemic and can have no sugar and has a tolerance problem with just milk so the only thing she can use in her coffe is half n half.

ETA: If you asked for Half n Half in a restaurant and what they bring you is sweet then they brought non dairy creamer... Very dangerous for folks with sugar problems.
