Anyone attacked by Silkie Rooster?

I am fairly new to chickens and I have this silkie rooster that is about 6 mths old. He keeps giving me the evil eye and I am not sure but I think he took a couple of determined steps toward me this morning.

Four of the hens just had chicks and these seems to what has sparked this new behavior. I know he can't fly and so I am thinking he can't really hurt me.

Advice anyone?

If he flogs you just hold him to the ground.

He may just be protecting the hens and feel more protetive because they are more protective currently due to having chicks
