Anyone build coop from Storey's Country Skills Book?

I have been looking at coop designs and like the one featured in the book "Storey's Basic Country Skills" book on page 504. I also found pdf plans on line for it under the title of "6248."

The coop depicted in the plans is 10x12 which is somewhat too big for me and I'm thinking about building it at 8x10 instead.

I'm curious if anyone here has built this design and how do they like it. I realize it is too big for the 10 hens we plan to get to start out, but this house would allow us to get more chickens in the future. I also like that there is a storage area built in to the coop as well.

I've seen this plan. I think the layout is great. Seems strait forward to build too.

Oh yea, I found that plan too when I was digging around for a blueprint. It's a good one, but just slightly larger than what is allowed without a permit, so we stuck with 10x10.
