Anyone cook FOR their birds?

Sometimes the crumbles/pellets I feed my hens end up as dust. I have thrown it away as the birds don't eat it. I posted a little earlier today about what to do with old eggs that laid uncollected for a couple of days and the responses were I could feed the old eggs to my birds or other pets. So... it occurs to me... why not mix the eggs with the pellet dust and bake in the oven on foil, the way people do when they make crackers? Sounds like it would work, doesn't it? I could save up feed 'dust', mix with eggs, spread on cookie sheet, bake and voila! Birdie cookies!

Ok, so has anyone tried this before? If you did did it work? If it didn't work, what went wrong? Am I just completely losing it and need to spend less time with my birds and more time with a shrink? Or, is this a fantastic idea and I'll make my fortune as the Famous Amos of Chicken Cookies?

They will love it and I find myself making them treats all the time !!
We are controled by them ya no. They have some implant that they
put in our brians when we are sleeping or something that makes
us do stuff we think is crazy ya no!! LOL!!!

My husband claims I do more cooking for the chickens than I do him...problem is, he's right.

I buy a lawn size bag of day old bread at the outlet store for $4; chop it into bread crumbs and add whatever leftovers there might be, plus chicken broth, and make "porridge" for them every cold moring.

Of course I also put cabbage, carrots, and other greens through the food processor everyday so they have fresh greens to munch on...

They love my cornbread...chicken and pastry....
I cooked spaghetti for them once, but they didn't like it

I forgot to mention that I put their vitamins, Red Cell, etc. in the food I cook for them...

Realized it was cheaper to buy a 1/2 a gallon of milk than a 1/2 a gallon of yogurt. I am now making 2 quarts of yogurt a week for the chickens. We canned a coupe of dozen pints of bass for the dogs last summer. The chickens gobbled it up when I have given it to them. Planning on canning as much fish as possible this summer.

Well, except that I am lazy and will probably just mix the dust with scrambled eggs....my poor chickies, no cookies.
