Anyone done an emergency air hole ? Need some advice!

He is out. After 24 hours of him not zipping I asst a little and noticed he was in a awkward spot. He never broke through the air cell. He broke in the middle. But he is healthy and happy!

I've had baby chicks before. But we bought them after they hatched. And there grown up now. They just started laying. I'm going to let some of there eggs hatch. So I would love some advice on how to hatch there eggs. Please and thanks.
