Lots of chicks happening lately!!
I have six so far, three Wyandottes and three bantams. The bantams are mixed so fun to figure out what they are.
All are doing well. I have five more eggs to go that actually aren't due until tomorrow but since the others were early.......

8 eggs under a broody cochin were due to hatch today, one chick hatched yesterday, a little egg tapping in the others but no pips yet. 5 serama eggs under another broody were due to hatch monday, 1 pip peeping away and the others nada yet

those stinkers pop out soon.

Today is the due date. No pips yet, but I held the flashlight up to one egg that was sticking out from under the hen and there's a large air sac and what looks like a beak appears to be pushing on the membrane inside. I'll just have to wait and see.
