All day two pips. The hole is big enough to see their little beaks and the egg tooth. They are peeping, yet have not made progress all day.

I hope they are just resting.

it's actually deeper than it looks. They have room to hatch and move around in.

You can see 1 there in my last post they're hatching now,RIR, EE, Barred Rock, RIR leghorn X, giants, and Sex Links.

hooksetz, how many eggs can you put in your bator?

bart just watch you are going to wake up in the morning and you are going to be hearing cheep cheep cheep and you will have atleast one chick just watch or should i say listen lol

Ginbart, I use little giant styrofoam bators (3 of "em) and 1 GQF 1202 hatcher, I get 35 to 46 chicks a week, every week. I've also got an old Leahy model 1200 I think, but I've not used it in a while, I can hatch 230 chicks at a time in there. But 30 -40 keeps me busy.

I have pips and cheeps!!

I came home from work to find all the eggs pipped (8) except for the buff orpingtons that I set up a day later.

I'm so excited I guess my temps weren't so low after all -- day 20 here.
