Look at those beautiful chickies!

Well, I'm going to try to call it a night. My little hatchling is like a bull in a china shop in there, rolling all those eggs around. I guess maybe they're built to survive that. It's sweet how he tries to nestle in between the eggs to go to sleep.

Bock_Bock how many do you have so far? I forgot how many you had.

I have nothing today and today is day 21. Not ever a pip.

Congrats to all of you. I guess mine are just taking their time. LOL

I have 1 1/2 out of 7 EE eggs hatched. They aren't due until tomorrow but these two look good so far. Three more are pipped.

OC, great looking chicks. That little one is so cute. I have one that size too. Wonder what she is? Mine are mixed so not sure. She looks like a silky but doesn't have feathered feet.

Well while we are all waiting let me tell you a story:

Tuesday I’m working at the Fair Grounds cleaning stalls and I hear a rooster. I’m thinking, I’m going nuts. Yesterday I heard it again so I didn’t want to ask DH because if he didn’t hear it then I knew I was crazy. So I ask someone else if they heard it and he said YES. Thank God. There’s only one house by the FG it’s a day care where I used to take my son, over I go after I’m done working. She said she had been given 2 eggs and she put them in a box with a light bulb. One hatched and one didn’t. No water, no checking the temp, no worrying it was a rooster. I think it’s a Wyandotte. He came right up to me so I had to give him some of my sandwich. Just wanted to share that because of all the worrying we are doing.
