anyone due on feb. 8th-13th??

Well, it does seem as if they will hatch in spite of us but yesterday my brahma egg was cheeping so I figured we were home free with that one, it is due to hatch today. Well, today nothing. No sound at all in any of my last five eggs. Do you think that means that they are no longer alive or am I worrying for nothing. None of my other eggs that hatched made any noise so I think (I hope) I am just being paranoid but after hearing him cheep and now nothing.......

All of mine hatched on day 20, though it was a 4 day staggered hatch. Then the quail started and should finish up today

That's what I am hoping. I got spoiled because three other bantams from the same hatch were early and my wyandottes were early too.
I sure hope I don't lose these. One egg is the only brahma and one is the only bantam salmon favorolle.

But pretend it's not a computer but an incubator...

2 out and 4 visably pipped out of 7. Not sure what's going on with the last egg. The shells are so thick and green it was hard to tell if they had fully developed or not when I put them in the hatcher.

Chantecler - you put the marbles in the water so when they are fumbling around those first few days no one falls in the water and drowns. Trust me it does happen... I had one do it on my first hatch ( I think he had other issues to begin with though)

That's a good idea. I was worried about mine taking a dive in the water. I will remeber this for the next time.
