Anyone else being invaded by the asian lady beetles??????

I knew they would surface eventually but was hoping that this year would be different.......NOT. They are out by the thousands........

We have them in Illinois. Keep finding them in my kitchen. Keep throwing them outside. Don't know how they're getting in.

We had a whole slew of them on the front door yesterday. This morning one of my co-workers was saying the same thing. Seems like they just popped up out of nowhere. When I was pulling away from the restaurant at lunch, there were some on the van next to me!

There had to be over 1,000 on the back of our house yesterday. Sorry no earth friendliness here I sprayed. By the looks of it today I am winning the battle now to go find the shop vac and clean up the battlefield so I can fight another day. They love the south and west side of our house and of course we live by the woods so they are flocking toward our house.

I've tried everything to keep them out but they still find a way in. We just sweep them up and throw the bag away. While I was working outside today there were at least 50+ on my clothes. So far I haven't been bitten by one but I'm sure I will before the day is done. I sure wish they were the red ones that are supposed to bring good luck.
