I have a super hard time falling asleep. 1 of the reasons why is because I keep replaying scenes where someone has roasted me throughout the day and I keep making up comebacks in my head where I'm going to roast them back. But it's kind of stupid because already happened and I can't go back and say it. Anybody else do this or have any other weird habits that they do when they're trying to fall asleep?

This is something you need to let go of and forgive them. It's not worth losing sleep over.

As I was reading in the book, Get Out of Your Head: Stopping the Spiral of Toxic Thoughts by Jennie Allen, you need to stop those thoughts before they ruin your precious night's sleep. As soon as they start, you need to tell your mind "I have a choice." You don't need to let those thoughts stay, can tell them to go away, and change your thinking. It is possible to change your thinking. The author writes in the book how the same thoughts kept her awake starting at 3 a.m. for 18 months straight. She learned that she didn't need to allow those thoughts rob her of her sleep, and learned how to change her thinking and have peaceful night sleep.

(I highly recommend reading the book. It's a great book. I just finished reading it and I enjoyed it greatly.)

Idk how to get it off so we are just gonna leave it like this

First of all, you are so sweet to care about me like this, and thanks for trying to help me. 🤗
But this is more of just a weird habit that I do when i try to fall asleep with any and every conversation that happened that day from an embarrassing thing I accidentally said (that I try re wording and basically redo the whole thing in my head), to a joke I said that could have been more funny had I worded it differently.
I don't feel like it's a problem for me right now, but I appreciate the kind words!! ❤
And I will try to find that book and read it, bit sounds really interesting.

I was just wondering if anybody else did this, and I should have been more specific so don't feel bad.

Thank you so much, @Lacy Duckwing !
You are super sweet🤗 and an amazing BYC member!!!!
