Anyone else around here eat raw garlic at the first sign if being sick? What have been your results?

I've eaten raw garlic for years whenever I wake up and have that sore throat, starting to be congested feeling. Previously when I felt that way, I'd usually get full blown sick. However since raw garlic, I've only been sick twice in about a decade.

No...but I have a head of elephant garlic I can't wait to roast

I have fewer colds/flu. etc... since upping my vitamin D levels.

I save garlic for the kitchen.

If it helps me health-wise, so much the better.

It sure does taste good!

Me too. First time I even found it. I was at the commissary with my GI son. I bought 2 big heads. One for planting and one for eating. I figured if I wanted to ever have it again, I needed to start my own supply. Son is not stationed where I live and he is deploying so I can't have him get me some more now that he is off leave.

it's easy to grow, and since it's a bulb you can start it indoors like tulips.
