Anyone else expecting hatching on xmas day?

I have eggs due to hatch on Christmas day they are my very first batch of shipped eggs, I'm excited to see them

Hopefully you don’t have a busy day! First hatches are always very exciting and utterly anxiety producing, especially on shipped, much anticipated eggs! If you don’t have a bunch of family or stuff going on, certainly could be fun, we are celebrating a birth after all, but if you have a hectic schedule adding more stress isn’t fun at all, but then you also get to ‘open’ something novel and be a kid again for a bit. My last two batches of shipped eggs have been a bit disappointing due to shipping trauma (both had saddled air cells) and 5he last batch actually hatched on thanksgiving (so I do this to myself too!). I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a lovely hatch!

Thank you this year Christmas is at the IL so i'm not gonna be busy up until we leave for their house for dinner. with any luck the ones that are still viable will hatch before we leave.
