They are VERY active and i thought they might be early hatchers because they are so lively. But nothing yet. I figures Sunday or monday. Monday is the real due date, but these chicks are live wires, so i think they might just burst out of the shells. Its ok......one at a time......there are a few hatches going on now. I cant wait to see pics.

Lurky will these do?

In the first picture, the one front right is my favorite. Do you know what that is? Very pretty

Well, obviously they all are the cutest, but more that one

I think it's a Partridge Silkie. I guess that's what I get for sticking so many different breeds in the bator, huh? And, thank you, I think they are all the cutest too.

These are pics of Emma being very nosy. These are the chicks that hatched yesterday and the night before. I moved them out of the bator last night.

There are 2 little Sebrights in this Hovabator keeping warm. I had to help them out of the shell last night, so I haven't put them into the brooder yet.

These are Sebrights and D'Uccles.

Emma keeping a watchful eye. She is amazed. This is her first time seeing baby chicks. I'm sure she's thinking "Lunch!" Notice the strap keeping the lid on nice and tight.

This is a little D'uccle. Dad is a Mille Fleur. Mom is either a Self Blue or Mille Fleur. Anyone know what color this chick will be??

Thanks! I've got 61 total in the hatcher. I think I've got 35 that have hatched so far. Hopefully I'll have a bunch hatch when I'm sleeping tonight. I woke up to 9 new ones this morning. That's the best, when they hatch while you sleep, so you're not stressing over them.
