Anyone else having trouble with beans this year?

So, I grow green beans and wax beans every year (the bush varieties). And, every year, I've gotten a huge crop, whether it has been dry, hot, or wet. But, for some reason, this year my beans aren't doing so well. Not as many came up, and the ones that did aren't doing so well. All my other crops (peas, tomatoes, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, lettuce, spinach, and onions) are doing fantastic. I wonder if it's the amount of water, but I'm jot sure. It rains a few times, so I don't need to water as often. The garden is well-weeded. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe do a bit of research on your soil? The PH could be too high / to low? I know some years a crop just doesn't do good for me! Sometimes its the seeds or plants and sometimes its just the way the wind blows! but do a little research on what type of soil your beans like. its possible something is a little off and it bothers the beans but not your other plants!

I never had any luck with beans and this year mine are actually growing like crazy! go figure.

What do you know! Thanks, I'll do that. Maybe it has to do with the difference of our locations.
