Don' fret about your work, you just started throwing, you'll notice I didn't post any pics of my early work - but I do still have it :) Tim See is my bud on Facebook, have never met him but a fan of his work. I love the Simon Leach videos, I find them very entertaining and educational. The key is practice, practice, practice.... where I first took classes they had 'studio hours' I took advantage of those to practice what I'd been taught...good luck in class on Monday!
 
I'll try to get some pictures. I just threw a really cute vase. I'll post pictures when It's all glazed and pretty
