Have y'all looked at www.Eggzy.net? You can enter your eggs daily and get graphs and statistics. It actually dates the eggs. Or I should say lists a date for the egg(s) by breed. I called one of my BPRs a 'mixed' so that I now can see on the charts who is productive and who isn't... (but luckily, they are all doing well).

Lucky me, I can tell each of my 4-layers eggs. I also weigh each egg daily and jot on calendar. It's eggcellent to have the information.

I just started a spreadsheet this morning because I was losing track. DH has been bringing eggs to school to sell, some of my clients are buying eggs, we sell to the neighbours. I was just keeping track on the calendar in the kitchen, but when there are more chicken and egg notations than anything else it is time for a new system.

So, now I have a spreadsheet, which I will have to get DH to tweak for me as I am not very proficient at making them. But, it has dates, feed purchased, number of eggs collected, dozens sold and money in. I cannot track who laid what as they all lay brown and there are too many of them.

I am most curious about egg totals and when we will (perhaps, LOL) break even.
