Thanks for the list !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are going to be in Dayton (Not far from Columbus) the weekend before the Ohio National Poultry show. Too bad it isn't the same weekend or I would try to make both.

LOL I'm going to have to find someone to go with me b/c my dh wouldn't like it either. He's not one to go to a concert of any sort anyways, much less TSO.

If worse comes to worse I'll go by myself.

YES.

I've been to their concerts for three years in a row. I also saw Mannheim Steamroller last year...that was awesome. Mannheim Steamroller is probably my favorite of the two -- I'm a bit obsessed as far as the music goes -- but TSO's show was way more thrilling and fun.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra's concert was like nothing I had ever seen before. They do an amazing pyrotechnics show, and the music and the singing is absolutely incredible. Highly, highly recommended -- especially if you like rock'n'roll.

I am probably going to go to TSO's show in Grand Rapids on January 2.

So Mannheim's concerts are more subdued than TSO's? I absolutely love both of them but really want to go and see TSO b/c of the pyrotechnics. Whomever designed the effects to go with the music is brilliant.

I love their music, so we decided to get tickets and go one year. Big mistake. My SO, his mother, and I walked out half way through because they wouldn't quit talking. We went for the music, not for bad story telling from a guy with an annoying voice we could barely understand. The pyrotechnics and laser show didn't impress me, since every event at that place takes advantage of that technology . . . and frankly, the rodeo utilizes it better. Now we're perfectly content to stay at home to listen to their music on CD, sipping hot chocolate. Live and learn.

Yup, much more subdued. They had a video playing behind the musicians to go along with the music, but the concert took place in a concert hall rather than in an arena like a rock concert. It was great hearing the Mannheim sound live, though.
